There is really a lot of great information to be found in these books. The advantage of a book about bushcraft and survival is that you can take it with you. It is a great offline reference, and you should always prioritize having at least one bushcraft book with you on your trip. There are so many projects you can dive into, and you only get better by practicing bushcraft and survival. Your skills won’t come from watching videos on YouTube – you need to practice, repeat, fail, try again, and finally succeed. I always carry a bushcraft book on trips myself and often actually aim to fail first. You should always think in terms of learning and make sure to experiment as much as you possibly can.
