Description of the Glock Field Shovel
The Glock shovel features a telescopic handle with an integrated saw stored inside the handle, which can be removed when needed. The blade itself can be adjusted and locked at different angles so it can be used as a regular shovel or a hoe and can be folded completely.
The saw is incredibly useful and designed to cut through roots you encounter while digging through soil layers, so keep your folding saw free from soil and roots to ensure it lasts much longer.

Locking the Glock Field Shovel in 4 Positions
The shovel blade locks by turning clockwise and unlocks by turning counterclockwise. When the lock is in the fully open position, the blade can be rotated to one of the 4 desired positions and locked as described.
If the locking mechanism becomes loose or stuck, the end of the saw blade can be used to tighten or loosen the lock. The screw in the center of the lock is tightened by turning clockwise and loosened by turning counterclockwise.
You can also lock the shovel in the usual way using the saw.
On the plastic ring of the lock, there is a slot that fits the saw, so you can use the saw to open or lock the shovel.
Telescopic Handle
To extend the handle to full length, pull the knob at the end of the handle.
To lock the handle in the fully extended position, turn the outer part of the handle counterclockwise until it reaches the stop position. To unlock, turn clockwise and then the handle can be pushed in.
Glock Field Shovel Saw
Turn the knob at the end of the handle counterclockwise and unscrew it completely, then remove the saw from the handle and flip it. Pass the saw blade through the hole in the knob, insert the black end of the saw into the handle, and rotate the saw to the desired position. Screw the knob clockwise until it stops.
