The eternal dilemma of space in the backpack

When I prepare and pack for a good weekend out in nature, there is always a priority on what to bring.

Do you know that feeling?

Should you choose the saw or the axe? Before this turns into too much of a religious debate, the answer comes like a message from heaven.

This is where the "Swiss Army axe" comes into the picture

... Or let's just stick to its official name - The Multi-axe.

A multi-axe solves many of the challenges that can arise in nature:
  • You simply get more space for other things in your pack.
  • Built-in saw in the handle. Functionality has really been considered.
  • You only need one tool when gathering firewood for the fire.
  • The Robens multi-axe even has a firesteel in the axe head protector, which means you have EVERYTHING for the fire in one.

PS. I have both the multi-axes and the good, classic long-handled axes in the store here. They still definitely have their place when chopping larger firewood for cooking and when space is not a factor.
