You can of course also use it without a handle, just make sure to have a pair of sturdy fire gloves.

You can cook your steak well done on a Midsummer fire with this fire pan, as long as you find a stick long enough so you don’t get a bit singed on the edges yourself.

When you assemble your fire pan yourself, the experience and preparation of the food becomes a different kind of event, and with the option to tailor your cooking experience, there is definitely a certain luxury attached.
