Carinthia Eagle - a great summer sleeping bag
A summer sleeping bag shouldn’t be too warm, nor should it fit tightly around the neck like many other Carinthia sleeping bags do. With the Carinthia Eagle, you get the well-known quality at an exceptionally low price, considering it is a summer sleeping bag of military quality. The sleeping bag is made with their GLT hollow fibers, which ensure good insulation while keeping the volume of the Carinthia Eagle low. Note that the zipper is on the side and not centered like on the thicker Carinthia sleeping bags. It is also two-way, so you can unzip from the bottom if you get too warm. Additionally, the zipper features an “anti snag ribbon” to prevent irritation from the zipper catching on the fabric.
Despite the low weight (900 grams), a comfort temperature of 10 degrees, and the modest packed size, no compromises have been made on features. The Carinthia Eagle is also equipped with an insulated piece of material around the zipper to prevent unpleasant cold air from entering the sleeping bag.
A compression sack is included.
