Carinthia Windstopper Booties

These windstopper booties from Carinthia can be used in various situations. After a long day with wet boots on, it can be quite relieving to take them off and put on a pair of loose and warm Carinthia windstopper booties. They are made from the same fabric and insulation material as Carinthia sleeping bags. This makes them incredibly warm and comfortable to wear.

If your toes get cold in your sleeping bag

Not everyone can stay warm in a sleeping bag, and the Carinthia windstopper booties are a good solution to that problem. You can adjust how tight they fit around your leg using the elastic. Tight socks tend to restrict blood flow to your feet, which is often the main issue. The windstopper booties fit in a way that allows your body to easily supply fresh blood to your feet, keeping your toes nicely warm all night.

Windstopper booties are perfect for cold winter trips

When you just get up, it’s not always easy to "crawl" into your boots. It can actually be very nice just to wake up with coffee in one hand and a good portion of eggs and bacon in the other. Just enjoy your morning in the forest and the silence. As you crawl out of your sleeping bag, the cold can quickly start to affect your feet, and the Carinthia windstopper booties are really nice to have on then.

Which size of Carinthia windstopper booties should you choose?

They run relatively large in size, and since I usually wear a 42/43, the one labeled 36/40 fits me very well. If you wear a size 44, you should choose the one labeled 40/46. Since these are not regular shoes but rather something like a foot-shaped insulated cover, you don’t need to worry too much about the fit. They are not meant for long walks, just short distances to fetch small items around you.

Weight: approx. 400 grams including storage bag.
