With DD Hammocks Whoopie Slings’ smart and practical high-quality suspension system, you can easily and effortlessly hang and adjust the height and angle of your hammock.
Whoopie Slings are made from ultra-light and strong materials, and each Whoopie Sling weighs only 20 g. They are made from 2.5 mm Amsteel, a type of rope made from Dyneema SK75 with Samthane Coating, providing an impressive breaking strength of 730 kg.
What is Amsteel?
Amsteel is known for its durability and light weight. Size for size, it is as strong as steel wire but only one-seventh of the weight. You can easily adjust the length from 40 cm to 180 cm to achieve the desired height and angle for your hammock.
Please note that Amsteel is durable but can also damage the surface of trees, so we recommend using DD Hammocks Tree Huggers straps to attach Whoopie Slings to trees and avoid damaging the bark.
