This hide is tanned in Norway at one of the Nordic region's leading tanneries and comes from Scandinavian moose. The bull moose is the largest land-dwelling deer species in Europe, which is reflected in the hide's size and durability.

Outdoor gear in hide – Made for harsh conditions

A moosehide is made to keep out heat and cold – especially the hide from a large bull moose. The moose's fur consists of hollow hairs that form millions of tiny air pockets that trap and retain body heat. This provides natural and highly effective insulation against cold, snow, and moisture.

At the same time, the hide is very durable and can be used directly on the ground – even on uneven or rocky surfaces. This makes it a solid choice as:
