The spacious hiking backpack is constructed from tough and durable 1000D polyester. This material is also water-repellent. The backpack has many features and options to customize it according to the amount of gear and clothing you pack. The main compartment can be fully closed with a drawstring. Above it is a top lid that can be pulled over and tightened securely. The straps are made of heavy-duty quality and all have durable buckles.
There are six external storage compartments. On each side and on the front, there are 2.5 L compartments with zipper closure and storm flaps that cover the zipper. The top lid also has a spacious pocket for maps and other gear you want to keep handy. On the hip straps, there is a small zippered pocket, and there is a larger compartment at the bottom of the backpack for heavy gear. This compartment can also be accessed from the main storage area and is perfect for items you want easy access to.
The New Forces 66 is incredibly adjustable and has an ergonomic design. Shoulder straps and hip straps are well padded for comfort. The chest strap can be easily adjusted and fitted. For extra comfort, there is an elastic section. The hip belt is fully adjustable and fastens with a strong Fastex buckle.
To increase comfort, the back has been stiffened and features a specially shaped and padded back panel with effective ventilation that allows good airflow. This provides cooling and quick removal of sweat and moisture. The back length can be adjusted to your torso length. This increases comfort and helps position the backpack’s weight as close to your center of gravity as possible. This backpack is designed specifically to shift weight from the shoulders down to the hips.
There are plenty of options to attach extra equipment on the outside of the backpack. There are several external nylon straps, sewn loops, D-rings on both shoulder straps, and an elastic bungee cord on the top lid. There are many ways to tighten the backpack to control volume and size.
