The MiniWorks EX microfilter is a small, lightweight, and effective water filter that removes bacteria and protozoa from drinking water. This water filter is a good option for individual travelers or groups who do not want to carry a large water treatment system.
The MSR MiniWorks EX microfilter is designed to fit MSR Dromlite water containers, making it easy to filter large amounts of drinking water at once, but MiniWorks EX can also be used without Dromlite, for example with the wide-mouth drinking bottle or in a regular bottle via a small tube that can be mounted directly on MiniWorks EX
The filter system consists of an intake tube with a coarse filter that keeps dirt out of the nozzle and filter head. The built-in carbon insert removes chemicals and taste from the water, while a 0.2 micron ceramic filter element removes bacteria and protozoa down to (99.9999%).
The unique design of the MSR MiniWorks EX microfilter ensures optimal performance under all conditions - even at low pressure - thanks to the two separate filter elements.
The filter head can be separated from the rest of the device for cleaning or replacement.
