Reflects your body heat
Therm-a-rest NeoAir XTherm’s reflective surface keeps you as warm as possible, working on the same principle as a thermal blanket, but the magic happens inside the pad.
Therm-a-rest NeoAir XTherm has an internal construction built with cells and multiple layers. The cell walls are made of a reflective material like a thermal blanket, which reflects heat back towards the top of the pad and you.
There are many sleeping pads with an R-value of 6.9 or higher, but those are always foam pads that weigh and bulk much more, often 4 times as much to achieve the same R-value of 6.9.
NeoAir XTherm contains only air.

Patch kit included.
If the unfortunate happens and you puncture your Therm-a-rest NeoAir XTherm sleeping pad, you can patch it on the spot.
When inflating the Therm-a-rest NeoAir XTherm, you can easily and quickly do so with the included pump sack. A smart and fast feature.
But if you prefer an even lighter solution, there is the Therm-a-rest NeoAir Micro Pump.
WingLock Valve
NeoAir XTherm also features the WingLock Valve.For many, the valve in their sleeping pad is not the first thing they think about, maybe only if it leaks. With WingLock Valve, valve problems are a thing of the past.
The valve consists of 2 parts: the top valve and the wings at the bottom.
The valve functions as a check valve during inflation when the top valve is open (turned counterclockwise) and when the wings are closed (turned clockwise), meaning all the air you blow into the pad stays inside. When the pad reaches the desired firmness, close the top valve.
(turn clockwise). This way, the WingLock Valve has double security to prevent air from escaping, as the wings act as a check/one-way valve and the top valve seals everything.
When packing the sleeping pad, simply turn the wings counterclockwise until they stop, then open the top valve by turning counterclockwise. When fully compressing the sleeping pad, turn both the top valve and wings clockwise.
All sleeping pads from Therm-a-rest with WingLock Valve can be inflated with the NeoAir Micro Pump or the pump sack included, and of course with your own breath.
