If you feel it needs a new coat of wax, for example, if it is no longer water-repellent or feels dry, it is very easy to apply wax:

First, clean the tool roll with a damp cloth. You can re-treat it when necessary with a suitable canvas wax (for example, this beeswax-based wax from Cuma Gear), and warm it with a hairdryer or over low heat, or with a warm (old) iron. Make sure the tool case is completely dry before applying the wax. Pay special attention to corners, edges, and seams. After this, your tool roll will be as good as new and ready for more outdoor adventures.
