325 years of hard craftsmanship and work distilled into an incredibly beautiful axe.
A tribute to the axe
The design of the anniversary axe 10-06 is based on the best axe models made by Hults Bruk. With a Swedish hand-forged axe head weighing 600 grams and an American hickory handle, inspired by the classic Yankee and Montreal patterns, giving the axe perfect balance.
It all started with a nail
Hults Bruk was founded in 1697 by Jakob Reenstierna, and their primary product was ship nails, which were of such high quality that they were sold throughout most of Europe.
Hults Bruk grew over the following years and began producing more than nails. They started making, for example, anchor chains, shovels, railway wagons, cast iron stoves, waffle irons, and of course axes.
The 1870s are the years when the Hults Bruk axes as we know them today began to take shape and were produced and sold worldwide.
Along with the anniversary axe 10-06, you also receive a keyring with an old-fashioned hand-forged nail, as a tribute to the start of the company’s 325 years of operation.
