Bottle Hanger for your steel bottle and mess kit - Cuma Gear

Practical bottle hanger for those who keep it simple.
A bottle hanger is used for two things; either to take your steel bottle out of the embers or off your burner after you have boiled water in it. You can also hang your steel bottle or mess kit over the embers if you don’t want it to get too sooty.

How to use your bottle hanger:

A bottle hanger simply consists of a spring with 2 hooks.
When the bottle hanger is closed (picture 1), you can easily insert it into the opening of your steel bottle.
When the part with the 2 hooks is inside the bottle, squeeze the bottle hanger to open it (picture 2), and it will grip the edge of your steel bottle so you can lift it out of the embers without burning yourself. If you don’t have fire gloves and your fire is very hot, you can also fish it out with a stick or your knife when you have a bottle hanger.

You can use it to hang your steel bottle over the embers in the same way.
