Tormek KJ-140 – Wide Centering Knife Jig

The Tormek KJ-140 wide centering clamp fits, among others, the Bushcraft T-4 sharpening machine from Tormek.

The clamp jig is for those who need to sharpen long and thin knives – such as fillet knives and boning knives – and want an even result all along the edge.

The wide clamp holds very securely and provides stability to flexible blades, preventing them from bending during sharpening. This makes a noticeable difference, especially on long knives where it can otherwise be difficult to maintain the same angle throughout.

When you clamp the knife in the jig, it centers the blade automatically. This means you get the same angle on both sides without having to adjust much along the way. This applies whether the knife is thin, thick, or tapered. The jig ensures it is positioned correctly.

The difference between this and the smaller model is mainly the width. The KJ-140 works the same way as the smaller KJ-45, but the wide 140 mm clamp provides extra support for:
