The tarp is specially designed to work with most campervans and camping buses. It comes with a double rail insert, so you can use it with both 6 mm and 8 mm tent rails (keder rails). This makes it easy to mount directly onto your vehicle’s awning or side rail without extra brackets or plates. You simply slide it in, roll it out – and voilà, you have a roof over your head and protection from wind, sun, or rain.

You can use it as a classic cover held up by two tent poles in front. Or you can use it more vertically as a sidewall or windbreak. The possibilities are many, and the setup is easy – whether you’re alone or with others.

Robust Lightweight Tarp for Camper

Although the Campervan Tarp weighs only about 1.12 kg (without pegs), it is still robust and durable. It is made from tough 190T polyester with a strong PU coating, providing a water column pressure of 3,000 mm. This means you get protection from rain and wind – even when the weather isn’t at its best.

At the same time, the tarp is treated with UV50+, protecting you from the sun’s harmful rays. This makes it just as suitable for cool evenings as for scorching hot days when you want some shade to retreat to. When packed, it takes up very little space and fits nicely in a storage compartment, glove box, or with your guy lines and pegs.

All seams are taped for extra waterproofness, and the reinforced corners and attachment points give you the freedom to adjust the setup as you like. Note: Poles for setting up the campervan tarp are not included. To support the corners and roof, extra poles are needed. We recommend using DD Hammocks Tarp Pole (sold in sets of 2) at the corners and possibly DD Hammocks Tarp Pole XL in the middle of the roof. If using only two poles, one in each corner, we recommend placing one pole slightly lower than the other so the roof is not completely flat. This allows water to run off the tarp instead of pooling in the middle.
