Description
Casström Safari mini hunter knife in Micarta with Kydex sheath - Hunting knife.
Safari Mini Hunter is suitable for skinning animals (skinning knife) and for cooking.
Casström Safari Mini Hunter from Casström is a well-thought-out compact small knife.
Well-balanced and beautifully designed and crafted. Designed by the renowned English knifemaker Alan Wood.
The original idea was to design a hunting knife, but with smaller dimensions, yet with the same features and efficiency as a larger hunting knife.
The blade is full tang, meaning it is a single piece of steel that runs from the tip of the blade all the way through the knife. This makes it extra sturdy.
The blade is made of Sandvik 14C28N steel.
Sandvik steel is a high-quality stainless steel often used for knife making.
It is a nitrogen-enhanced steel, which means it contains a higher amount of nitrogen than traditional stainless steels. This improves the steel's hardness and resists corrosion.
The handle is made of black synthetic G10 Micarta.
This makes it very resistant to moisture, dirt, and grime.
The well-shaped handle ensures the knife fits comfortably in the hand and feels balanced and pleasant.
The sheath: Comes with a robust black Kydex sheath, and the knife fits securely in the sheath—no rattling here!
The Kydex sheath has 4 different hole rivets, allowing you to attach it in multiple ways.
