Casström Woodsman is a classic bushcraft knife, designed by the experienced knifemaker Roger Harrington.
Its robust design is perfectly suited for typical bushcraft tasks such as splitting firewood, known as "batoning," and crafting / green woodworking in general.
The Woodsman knife from Casström is overall a really good choice for versatile use in nature.
The Woodman knife has a Scandi grind, and the steel is of the type Uddeholm Sleipner (Non-stainless), 59-61 HRC.
The bushcraft knife is available with 2 different handles:
Curly Birch - Birch knot (from sustainable forestry)
Bog Oak - Bog Oak - Approx. 5000-year-old English bog oak.
Both types are excellent handle materials, with a lovely finish.
A sturdy leather sheath in vegetable-tanned European leather is included with all models.
