FinnRover Loue Shelter M16 – Lightweight bushcraft shelter
Experience the roots of outdoor life with the FinnRover Loue M16, a classic and open shelter. The Loue M16 is developed by the Finnish company FinnRover, known for preserving and continuing the old Nordic outdoor traditions. This shelter combines authentic design, low weight, and high functionality – ideal for bushcrafters, hikers, and nature lovers who want a versatile shelter for year-round use.
Loue M16 shelter with optimal heat utilization from fire
The M16 model is open at the front and works perfectly with a campfire. The reflective material on the inside helps to send the heat from the fire back into the shelter, so you can stay warm even on cold nights. This makes the Loue M16 the obvious choice for minimalist campsites, winter trips, bushcraft camps, or basecamps with a communal fireplace.
Material with military origin and a special history
The Loue M16 is sewn from a special cotton/polyester fabric that was previously used to make winter camouflage clothing for the Swedish army. FinnRover’s owner, Joppe Ranta, purchased the last rolls and created this unique and strong version of the classic Loue shelter.
Lightweight and compact – perfect for hiking and bushcraft
The shelter is made from lightweight nylon taffeta with a ripstop structure and water-repellent coating, making it the lightest Loue in the FinnRover series. Weighing only 2 kg, it is ideal for those who travel far and want to pack light.
