Tips and tricks

Forget old wives’ tales! 

A blood-sucking parasite doesn’t get dizzy if you circle a finger around it, nor does it lack oxygen if you apply oil. It only detaches if it has drunk enough blood or if you remove it.

So you can either catch them before they bite by checking the spots where you feel tingling, or you can use Tick & Mite Tweezers to effectively remove their body and head. 

Gently squeeze the tweezers’ grip as close to the tick as possible, pull slowly but firmly while squeezing the tweezers, and pull until it comes free. 

If the head remains attached, keep an eye on the bite and see a doctor if a large red patch bigger than a 1-euro coin appears. It’s helpful to draw a circle around the bite with a pen to see if it grows. It may swell a bit at first due to irritation, but if it continues to swell and grow, seek medical advice.
