Heater Bag with Heating Element from Tactical Foodpack

Tactical Foodpack’s method for heating freeze-dried food without fire!

The heater bag from Tactical Foodpack is a smart alternative to making a fire or bringing cooking gear on a trip; here you can easily heat your food without fire.

The heater bag from Tactical takes up very little space and only requires water and a heater element to work.
The heater bag itself can be reused several times (up to about 10 times), but you need a new heater bag element each time - you can find it here.

How to use your Tactical Foodpack Heater Bag

You can prepare your Tactical Foodpack or other freeze-dried food bags for eating simply by following these instructions.
We recommend you also watch the video below; it explains it well.

1 - Open the package with your freeze-dried food (remember to remove the small moisture absorber bag), pour the correct amount of food for your meal, and mix the water and freeze-dried food. Close the bag.

2 - Open your heater bag, unfold the bottom, and make sure it stands stable on a surface that can tolerate heat.
Do not place it directly on snow or ice, as you will lose too much heat before your freeze-dried food is warm.

3 - Fill water into your heater bag (NOT INTO THE FOOD BAG), about 150 ml, which matches the dotted line you can see on the outside of the heater bag.

3 - Open the bag with your Tactical Foodpack Heater Element and place it at the bottom of the heater bag so it is covered with water.

4 - Place your bag with freeze-dried food and water into your heater bag with water, on top of the white heater bag element, and close the bag.
Note that there is a small hole on the side of the heater bag so steam can escape.

5 - Wait about 10 minutes, carefully take your food out of the heater bag, stir it, and place your freeze-dried food back into your heater bag for a final warming before it’s ready.
And be careful, it’s really hot!

6 - Give your freeze-dried food about 10 more minutes, and it should be ready.

7 - Remember to dispose of your heater bag element properly; do not leave it in nature.

Heater Bag with Heating Element from Tactical Foodpack works for up to 25 minutes at a time, and a heater bag can be reused 10 times.

NOTE: You need a new heating element for each meal you prepare.

Be careful with the heating element and the heated water, as the temperature can reach up to 100 degrees.

Also read the instructions on the bag and now enjoy your easy preparation method.
