Description
Silky - Katanaboy 700-4 - Folding saw - New model.
Katanaboy from Japanese Silky Saw replaces the Katanaboy 650-4
Silky - Katanaboy 700-4 large efficient folding saw, the 'chainsaw' without a motor.
Katanaboy 700-4 is the longer, coarser big brother to the Katanaboy 550-5.
That means it has a 700 mm blade instead of 550 mm, and 4 teeth per 30 mm instead of 5 teeth per 30 mm.
Katanaboy handles trunks up to about 35 cm.
Practically, this means a longer stroke with the blade, coarser cuts where more material is torn up, shorter sawing time, and less effort used. Bigger isn’t always better, but if you want to saw as much wood as possible in an eco-friendly way, dry or fresh, in the shortest time, the Silky - Katanaboy 700-4 folding saw is the best choice.
Safety with Silky - Katanaboy 700-4
This blade is no joke! Silky makes sharp and durable saw teeth that can easily cause injury if handled incorrectly. That’s why Silky has created a two-step safety system with the Katanaboy 700-4 when you unfold it. First, fold it halfway out—remember to keep your fingers clear—then fold it fully out and use the locking screw on top of the saw’s handle.
When you saw, whether in the camp, garden, or on a wilderness camping trip, you will inevitably cut through many trunks and branches with the Katanaboy 700-4, which causes vibrations, especially with a 700 mm blade. That’s why the Katanaboy folding saw’s handle is made of non-slip, ergonomically designed thick rubber that helps absorb many of the vibrations.
So if you have serious tasks in the garden or on the trip, the Katanaboy 700-4 from Silky is the one with the solution.
