A glow stick can be used in many situations.

First and foremost, glow sticks are great for marking when you are outdoors.

A glow stick works by having a small glass container inside that releases a liquid inside the glow stick, creating a chemical reaction that makes the glow stick light up.

But we have experienced that they continue to glow, though with decreasing intensity, for up to 24 hours in cold weather.
