Mil-Tec Mini Headlamp - 4 Functions with Red and White Light

Ultra small and compact headlamp from Mil-Tec, featuring four different light functions. The straps are elastic and can also be adjusted in length.

1. White light at full brightness
2. White light at dimmed brightness
3. Red constant light from two smaller LED bulbs. Good for night vision and for reading maps or other materials with dim light.
4. Flashing red light.

You can also turn the headlamp around and use it as a red rear light on the back of your neck. This is how Bjarke from the shop often uses it.

The genius of this headlamp is its size. You can always find space for it as a backup, or use it as your primary light if you care about weight and want to save space while having an inexpensive light source.

NOTE: How to use it for the first time - Flip the headlamp forward and unscrew the small plastic cover. Then remove the two batteries and take out the small white piece of paper. Use the plastic bag the headlamp is packed in to handle the small batteries. Your fingers can slightly discharge the batteries if you don’t handle them with something insulating in between. The bag is perfect for this purpose.

The included batteries are not rechargeable. They are CR2032. If you want to use rechargeable button cell batteries in the future, I recommend searching for CL2032 batteries, as they are rechargeable. Neither they nor a compatible charger are very expensive. We do not currently stock them. Here’s the tip for a slightly more sustainable solution.
