This means they are ultralight, very durable, and water-repellent. They weigh only about 100 grams in total and take up minimal space when not in use. This makes them perfect for both short and longer trips where you want to save weight while keeping an overview of your gear in the bag.
The storage bags are not fully waterproof like a dry bag – but they easily withstand light rain, damp gear, and a muddy tent floor, protecting your clothes and equipment from moisture.
The five storage bags come in two sizes: three medium (37 × 29 cm) and two larger (45 × 25 cm). So you get space for both small items and larger clothing pieces. The storage bags close with a drawstring, so you can quickly open and close them – even with cold fingers. Each bag has its own print: “Food”, “Clothing (clean)”, “Clothing (wash me)”, “Rubbish” and “Bag No. 5 – for whatever you want!” – a nice little detail that really matters when you’re standing in a wet forest trying to find exactly what you need.
