The M23 Ranger Cub knife from Peltonen Knives is a compact and versatile knife with a sharp and durable carbon steel blade.

The robust outdoor knife is ideal for most bushcraft and outdoor tasks – including precision and carving work – with its ultra-sharp and sturdy 6.5 cm long drop-point blade with Scandi grind in 80CrV2 carbon steel, hardened to 62 HRC on the edge and 59 HRC on the blade spine.

The handle is made of durable TPE (thermoplastic elastomer), which is ergonomic and ensures a good, firm grip on the handle.

The M23 Ranger Cub knife is easily carried in the included Kydex sheath, which can be worn on the neck with the included paracord cord or attached securely to your belt with the Pull-the-DOT® button. The Kydex sheath protects your knife well – it is resistant to shocks and impacts, as well as wind and weather, and withstands moisture, chemicals, and temperature changes.

The knife blade is made of carbon steel, and is therefore not stainless, so we recommend sharpening the knife regularly/when needed, as well as cleaning it and applying a little oil to prevent rust.
