S1 from Swedish Fällkniven - Robust outdoor knife.
The Fällkniven S1 is a sturdy and versatile survival knife, designed to handle demanding tasks in the outdoors. It features a 13 cm long blade made of laminated VG-10 steel, providing an excellent combination of sharpness, corrosion resistance, and strength.
The knife is ground convex, making it ideal for slicing and light chopping tasks. This grind adds extra durability to the knife, even under heavy use.
The handle is made of Thermorun, which ensures a secure grip even in wet conditions or with cold hands, making the knife especially suitable for harsh environments.
It is available with either a Zytel or leather sheath, where the Zytel sheath is lightweight, durable, and easy to maintain.
Note that the S1 with leather sheath is a special order item.
The S1’s construction is versatile enough to handle both lighter tasks like cooking and heavy tasks like batoning, making it ideal for bushcraft, hunting, and survival.
