Sawyer Squeeze - a slightly larger and ingenious water filter
Like its little brother the Sawyer Mini, it is equipped with a standard bottle thread and therefore fits most water bottles (such as spring water bottles). Along with the Sawyer Squeeze, you also get a 1-liter water pouch that easily rolls around the filter. The Sawyer Squeeze has a pop-up drinking spout just like many water bottles, so you can mount it "permanently".

How to use a Sawyer Squeeze water filter
You can use the filter in several ways. In the package, you will find the filter, a water pouch, and a syringe. The filter can be screwed onto most standard threads found on soda bottles, spring water bottles, and also the included Sawyer water pouch. Fill the dirty water into the bottle or pouch and then screw on the filter. Pull up the pop-up lid and you now have access to the water through the filter. Due to the design and pop-up lid, you can replace the normal cap on a water bottle with the Sawyer Squeeze filter. When you are on the go and not drinking the water, simply press the pop-up lid down and the water is secured against leaking – simple and smart! Sawyer provides a 1-liter pouch with this filter, but here in the shop, you can also find 2-liter pouches. The advantage of the pouches is that they can easily be rolled up and therefore take up minimal space in your luggage.
The Sawyer Squeeze package includes the following:
1 water filter that you can screw on and off water bottles and Sawyer pouches.
1 syringe to clean your Squeeze water filter.
1 drinking spout that can be replaced as needed.
1 Sawyer water pouch with a capacity of 1 liter. The water pouch is also 100% BPA FREE, so you avoid plastic contamination from the pouch.
What does the Sawyer Squeeze water filter remove?
Directly quoted from the manufacturer’s website, it removes 99.9999% of: Bacteria, protozoa, E. Coli, giardia, vibrio cholerae, Salmonella typhi. However, most water filters do not remove chemicals, and this filter does not either.

Important information
Very few water filters tolerate freezing, and we do experience frost from time to time. Make sure your water filter is ALWAYS stored frost-free. As soon as the filter has been used even once, it will always contain a small amount of moisture. Freezing will cause the moisture to expand and potentially damage your filter. You won’t be able to see it, but the fibers inside will very likely break.
