The quilt features Sea to Summit’s QuiltLock System, allowing it to easily connect with Sea To Summit Free-Flow sleeping bags if you want extra warmth on cold nights. Of course, the quilt can also be used with sleeping bags from other brands. You can secure the quilt around your sleeping bag using drawcord closures at the top and foot ends, cross straps, and snap buttons along the sides of the quilt, which can also be used to join two quilts together to make a double blanket.

The Sea To Summit Cinder Cd1 Down Quilt is made from lightweight and durable 20D nylon. The outer side has a water-repellent and breathable coating that protects against moisture, while the inner side is lined with a softer nylon that feels comfortable against the skin. The filling consists of a 90/10 blend of Ultra-Dry Down duck feathers, which are treated to resist moisture, ensuring the down does not clump in damp conditions. This makes the quilt ideal for cool summer nights, where temperature differences between day and night often cause condensation.

The quilt keeps you warm down to 10°C, making it suitable for spring, summer, and autumn. In winter, it is perfect as an extra insulating layer over your sleeping bag when sleeping under the open sky.
