Many ask: Should the seat pad be impregnated?
No, it should not
None of our own private reindeer hides are chemically impregnated, no matter what we use them for.
One thing is that it is not necessary, because it isn’t. You just need to make sure it dries completely when you get home before you put it away.
Personally, we’re not fans of too much chemistry, neither in nature nor at home, but that’s just our personal opinion, no judgment here at all!

What else can I use reindeer hide for?
As you may already know, we often use our reindeer hides ourselves.
We use them as extra insulation on top of our sleeping pads, in the hammock, in the chair when sitting around the fire.
We lay them on the ground around the fire so we have a place to sit and relax, also with the kids, who love to lie and cuddle on them.
