Description
Large Spoon/Bowl Knife Blade for carving work
Hillbilly Forge Bowl Carver from Brisa
Note - This model is no longer produced. We bought the last ones made, so don’t wait if you want to make your own knife with this blade.
This large spoon and bowl knife blade from Brisa (Hillbilly Forge Bowl Carver) is made for those who want to work on larger wood pieces – such as bowls, kuksas, and deep spoons.
The blade functions like a classic spoon knife but in a stronger and larger version, making it ideal for removing more material and shaping larger hollows in wood.
It is a bare blade, which means you install the handle yourself and thus have the opportunity to create a tool that fits you and your working style perfectly.
The large curvature of the blade makes it easy to work efficiently in the wood when hollowing out pieces, and it is especially suitable for projects where a regular spoon knife is too small.
Perfect for larger wood projects
With this bowl carver, you can work on, among other things:
-
Wooden bowls
-
Kuksa (wooden cups)
-
Large spoons and serving spoons
-
Hollowing out various wood pieces
It is ideal for bushcraft, wood carving, and whittling work where you want more power and reach than a standard spoon knife provides.
Make your own carving tool
Since the blade is delivered without a handle, you have the opportunity to create a completely personalized tool. You can choose the type of wood, shape, and finish so the knife fits your hand perfectly.
If you want to get started, you can find inspiration in our guide “Make Your Own Knife”, where we go through the process step by step.
The blade fits well with our selection of handle wood, so you can easily get started on your own project.
