You probably know Mora’s wide quality range of, among other things, whittling knives; this is one of their options for a good and practical knife for kids, namely the Mora Scout Safe 39.
Children usually love to carve together with dad or mom, or older siblings.

Your Mora Scout Safe 39 comes with a leather sheath with a belt loop, so the little scout or ‘Emil or Emilie from Lönneberga’ can easily carry their knife, for example in the forest, and both the owner and the knife are well protected when not in use.
When your child starts whittling, it can be helpful to begin with a piece of fresh wood, as it is softer to work with.
For very young children, we recommend starting by peeling the bark off a branch with a potato peeler; it provides good practice without much risk.
