Michael Petersen is a trained veterinarian but early on changed career paths to become a visual artist and graphic designer. For 18 years, he worked at the Copenhagen Zoo, where his drawings and designs can be seen on signs and in exhibitions, including The Arctic Ring. Now he has returned to his roots, from when as a boy he went out with a net and jam jars to find water spiders and tadpoles.
