With the Cuma Gear Luxury Low Tail model, we have upgraded the following at no extra cost to you:
- Extra thick mattress with a 7 cm condensation mat underneath + condensation mat.
- Gas struts (for opening and closing your roof tent) made of stainless steel.
- Compact ladder that easily folds in or out, powder-coated black to match your roof tent.
- Extra-large canopy around the roof tent that shields against sun and rain – even when the sides are not zipped up.
- Option to mount a solar panel on the roof tent so you can charge your devices and keep food cold.
- Insulated top/roof – protects against both heat and cold.
- Shoe pockets to hang on the ladder – keeps your shoes off the ground and tent floor.
- 5 pockets + 1 transparent pocket for your iPad at the top of the tent – perfect for movies or news inside the tent.
The roof tent is really easy to set up. Once mounted on the car, you’re ready to jump under the covers in a maximum of 15 minutes when you set up camp. One person can easily open the tent and install the extra poles that hold the canopy out.
The roof tent measures 139 cm in width including gas struts and brackets, and 218 cm in length including front and rear hinges. The roof tent weighs 65 kg plus ladder. These measurements are important to know when ensuring your car is suitable for use with a roof tent. We have used it on our old Defender as well as on our almost equally old Volvo V70 – it can easily be mounted on several different car types. What does low tail mean?
Low tail refers to the height at the end of the roof tent – that is most likely where your feet will be. We also have a High End Deluxe model with a high tail, which is especially suitable for tall people and those who want extra space. You get a bit more room at the foot end due to the height and thus a slightly longer sleeping area, even though the external dimensions of the roof tent are the same.

Delivery on Zealand (excluding islands) costs 495 DKK.
Delivery to the rest of the country is calculated according to current shipping rates.
