Description
Seaweed, a sea of food - a book about Danish seaweed species, recipes, and everything you need to know to get started well.
Actually, I first came across this book through one of our lovely customers, who is one of the authors behind the book, and I was definitely not disappointed!
The book 'Seaweed, a sea of food' is a really good book for those who want to harvest some of the most sustainable, nutritious, and even free food we have in Denmark, namely seaweed.
With over 8700 km of coastline in Denmark, there is a great opportunity to get out and gather/harvest your own seaweed, and with this book in your backpack, you are well prepared for success.
Seaweed is rich in many good nutrients, and besides that, it also tastes good and can be used in almost all food, and you will find plenty of inspiration in this book.
The book includes, among other things:
-A guide to seaweed harvesting.
-A thorough review of Danish seaweed species.
-A super smart flavor chart that describes the tastes and what they suit (whether it's umami, salty, green, etc.).
-And lots of great delicious recipes, for breakfast, bread, snacks, and dinner.
So a big thank you especially to Anita (one of the authors), for introducing me to it, I really like your book and gladly give it a strong recommendation - well done!
