With the Basecamp sleeping pad from Therm-a-Rest, you can easily sleep outdoors all year round.
The sleeping pad has an R-value of 6 and becomes 5 cm thick when fully inflated.

Self-Inflating Sleeping Pad

Basecamp from Therm-a-Rest is self-inflating, meaning it almost inflates itself. The self-expanding foam starts inflating the Basecamp sleeping pad when you open the valve.
When you’re ready to set up camp for the night and your tent or tarp is up, roll out your Basecamp sleeping pad, open the valve, and let it sit for a while.
This way, your Therm-a-Rest sleeping pad does most of the work for you. Before getting into your sleeping bag, blow the last bit of air into the pad by mouth to achieve the firmness and thickness you want.
If you’ve inflated your Basecamp sleeping pad too much and it feels a bit too firm when you lie on it, you can easily adjust it by opening the valve (while lying on it) and letting some air out until it suits you.
A good night’s sleep is the key to energy and motivation for another great day in nature.

A storage bag is included

We always recommend not storing your self-inflating sleeping pad fully compressed at home, and with the valve open; this way, your Basecamp sleeping pad and similar pads will last as long as possible.
