When you are on a trip, whether in nature, on a plane, or at a football game, it can be useful to have a good seat pad with you.

Lite Seat from Therm-a-Rest is a really good seat pad, with a small packed size and weight, but plenty of comfort.

Lite Seat is basically a mini version of a self-inflating sleeping pad.
This means it protects you from both the cold and the surface beneath you, so you can sit softly, warmly, and comfortably.

You should never underestimate the value of good breaks.

When you are on a trip, you use your body actively, and it is during breaks and at night that you need to recharge with new energy for the next stage, or maybe just sit and enjoy nature with a good cup of coffee.
Therefore, it is important that you of course have a good sleeping bag, a good sleeping pad, but also something comfortable and warm to sit on when you take a well-deserved break.

How to use the seat pad from Therm-a-Rest.

When you want to use your Lite Seat, loosen the strap around the pad and open the valve. This way, the seat pad starts to suck in air as the foam expands.
This can take a couple of minutes, especially the first time.
Before closing the valve, it can be helpful to give the Lite Seat a few extra puffs with your mouth so it reaches the thickness and firmness that suits you.

When you need to pack your Lite Seat down again, open the valve and push out as much air as possible.
Then fold your seat pad in half and start rolling it from the opposite side of where the valve is located.
When you have rolled your Lite Seat tightly and squeezed out as much air as possible, close the valve again and fasten the strap around it. This way it stays compact in your bag. Lite Seat doesn’t take up much space once packed, only about 6.5 cm X 18.5 cm.

We always recommend that you do not leave your sleeping bag, foam sleeping pad, or in this case your Lite Seat, compressed for long periods.
We do this to prevent the product from losing some of its insulation ability and comfort.
When you get home, if it’s a long time before you need to use it again, just unroll your Lite Seat and open the valve, that’s all it takes.
If it happens, don’t worry, Therm-a-Rest ONLY makes products of good quality, so it will still hold up.
