Therm-a-Rest - Questar -6C

Questar -6C is a fantastic duck down sleeping bag where you have plenty of room to turn and move, just like in your own bed.

It is a mummy sleeping bag, which means you get the best use of your body heat without your body having to use unnecessary energy to warm up the sleeping bag. Therm-a-Rest has taken into account that many of us like extra space to turn and move during the night, and you can do that in the Questar.

The down in the Questar -6C is Nikwax Hydrophobic treated, which means it repels water 90% better than untreated down and dries 3 times faster. 

In the Questar sleeping bag from Therm-a-Rest, the filling is divided into zones, so you have the most down in the areas where your body needs it most, giving you the best comfort while keeping weight and bulk to a minimum when packing your Questar.

On the back of the sleeping bag, there is a system installed that Therm-a-Rest calls SynergyLink Connectors.
In short, there are 2 straps on the back of the sleeping bag that you can fasten around your sleeping pad to prevent slipping off during the night or your sleeping bag moving around when you turn.

Questar has a range of features that you only find with Therm-a-Rest, because they really put thought into things.
One of the things I really appreciate is the oversized footbox, where there is actually room for your feet on all sides. 

Questar comes in 3 different versions, depending on the temperature you need to sleep outside in.
The lower the temperature it needs to withstand, the heavier and bulkier it is, because it contains more down.

It comes in the following:

0C / 32F - So it goes down to around freezing point.
-6C / 20F - It goes down to about -6 degrees Celsius.
-18 C / 0F - It can keep you warm down to about -18 degrees Celsius.

All sleeping bags from Therm-a-Rest come with a storage bag and compression sack.

About comfort temperatures

We often experience comfort temperature as relative; women often need a higher comfort temperature than men, and some brands can also be quite optimistic with their comfort temperature compared to what our own tests feel they can deliver. This is NOT the case with Therm-a-Rest, and it applies to ALL their products—they deliver what they promise.
