Every now and then, we encounter a product that not only lives up to its promises but also takes it a step further.
We have a product like that here, namely the Saros sleeping bag from Therm-a-Rest.
The entire Saros series from Therm-a-Rest with fiber is fantastic. 

A pleasure to test

I tested the Therm-a-Rest Saros -18 this winter when we expected a night with a temperature of -12 degrees.
But it turned out it was going to get colder, namely -17, right on the edge of what it can handle on paper.
But honestly, I can’t remember the last time I had such a good night’s sleep in severe frost (Danish conditions). 
I only woke up once when the temperature hit -17, and my nose stuck out a bit too far, but the Therm-a-Rest Saros easily delivered on its promise; the comfort is insanely good!
It’s exactly the same story with the Saros -6C

Good space in the Saros sleeping bag from Therm-a-Rest

Even though it’s a "mummy" sleeping bag, there is really good shoulder room and a large foot box, so you can easily pull your legs up without cold spots forming in the "empty pockets."
You just sleep much better when you can move naturally.
At Therm-a-Rest does almost nothing else but figure out how big the whole or parts of the sleeping bag should be, how much filling, which filling, etc., so we get the best nights when we are outdoors.
We definitely believe that Therm-a-Rest are world champions at making sleeping bags and sleeping pads, gear you want to have for many years.

Features

A cool feature of the Saros -6C sleeping bag from Therm-a-Rest is that you can fasten your sleeping pad to the sleeping bag, so you don’t slip off the pad at night when you turn over.

The Therm-a-Rest Saros -6C sleeping bag comes in a large storage bag, so the fibers are not compressed beforehand.

We always recommend letting your sleeping bag hang freely/uncompressed when not in use, as this helps it last longer.

Of course, a compression sack is included for when you need to take it on a trip.
