With the Tormek T-4 Bushcraft, you get a compact and well-designed sharpening machine made for those who use their knives and axes in practice – on hunts, in the forest, or at home in the workshop.
It’s easy to use, even if you’ve never sharpened before, and precise enough to achieve an edge that’s at least as good as when your tool came from the factory. You decide the angle yourself, depending on what the tool will be used for.
The machine doesn’t take up much space and is easy to bring along if you want it in your summer house, hunting cabin, or workshop.
Sharpening machine for bushcraft knives and axes
The Tormek T-4 Bushcraft comes with the jigs you typically need for outdoor life:
- KJ-45 Centering Knife Jig for knives
- AX-40 Axe Jig for axes
This means you can get started right away and keep your gear sharp – whether it’s bushcraft and outdoor knives, hunting knives, or axes.
Sharpen your best gear without damaging the steel
The machine is water-cooled so the steel doesn’t overheat during sharpening. This is important if you want to preserve the blade’s hardness and get an edge that lasts.
The included SG-200 sharpening stone can be adjusted to work coarsely or finely:
- Coarse sharpening equivalent to about 220 grit
- Finer sharpening up to about 1000 grit
This makes it possible both to straighten a damaged edge and to maintain a knife that just needs a light sharpening.
Afterwards, you can use the leather honing wheel to remove the burr and give the edge the final finish.
