The Trail Lite from Therm-A-Rest is a 3-season sleeping pad with cool details! 

Are we hyping the sleeping pad too much with that title? 

The answer is NO! 

Because the Trail Lite from Therm-A-Rest has some cool features and advantages that other sleeping pads just don’t have.

A sleeping pad is, however, a simple construction and concept. You have to sleep on the ground, it insulates your body from the cold of the ground so you don’t get sick or kick the bucket, simple. 

But the way the Trail Lite from Therm-A-Rest does it is just a little better than others. 

The sleeping pad has a WingLock™ valve that ensures the self-inflating sleeping pad inflates itself 3 times faster than it otherwise would. Larger and more efficient intake holes make the mechanism extremely effective. The WingLock™ valve also ensures you can get the air out again 3 times faster. 

The WingLock™ valve on the Trail Lite from Therm-A-Rest also has another smart feature. You can twist the yellow wings half a turn, and the sleeping pad will then only be able to take air in, not out. This is incredibly practical when you just need to add the last puffs of air so it’s perfectly firm to lie on. 

Besides the smart WingLock™ valve, it is a 3-season sleeping pad with an R-value of 3.2, suitable for spring, summer, and autumn. 

There is a reason it’s called lite, as the weight is only 740 grams and the sleeping pad itself has a thickness of 3.8 cm.
