The dowel plate is made from hardened A2 tool steel and features 13 precisely milled holes, allowing you to make dowels in sizes from 4 mm to 16 mm. Each hole is tapered on the underside, which reduces friction and makes it easier to push the wood through.
The steel is hardened to a hardness of 61 HRC, making the plate extremely robust and suitable for repeated use. Its flat and compact design makes it easy to pack along with other equipment – ideal as part of your carving kit.
