Firesteel - 153 mm - Black - Cuma Gear

Simple and effective 153 mm firesteel with elastic cord - From Danish Cuma Gear.

Here you get a firesteel without too many frills.

The design is kept very simple, the only small feature is the cm measurement and bottle opener on the sticker, nothing you notice unless you want to use it.

The firesteel comes with a black sticker, which is tied to the firesteel with a strong black elastic cord, which can be an advantage when using it, as the cord can give way when you strike sparks, and the set is always together.

You can of course also keep it simple and remove the sticker, then just use the back of your knife.

Want to make your own firesteel handle?

This is one of those pieces of gear that is perfect for making your own handle, as the ferrocerium rod itself is very simple. The obvious choice for this is, of course, a piece of wood you feel comfortable with, a piece of reindeer antler, or you can cast one in epoxy—the possibilities are many.
