Practical information about the Petromax waffle iron

The plates on the waffle iron can be separated, making it easy to clean. Clean it with warm water after use, and coat the plates with cooking oil to keep it in good condition. Occasionally, the waffle iron may develop a bit of rust. If it gets some red rust spots, give it a thorough cleaning and coat it with cooking oil, and it will be fine again.

A practical hook holds the plates together during baking. Remember to keep the waffle iron fairly level while baking so the batter doesn’t spill out; turn the iron during cooking if necessary.
