The first aid kit is designed for the molle system. Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment

This makes it easy to attach the first aid kit to your US Assault pack or other bags designed for this, but most regular bags can also easily accommodate it.

The first aid kit also has a molle system on the front with sewn-on velcro and an extra inner pocket for a few additional items, if needed.
